The Curtin University Student Guild has an annual election for student representatives. In the space of a few days I had taken photos of all the candidates, collected copy, summarised statements and built a campaign website. I’d even drawn an icon used to denote the folded up candidate statements (it’s origami). It’s a bit rough around the edges, but not bad for such a quick turnaround.
I’ve done very little development this year that I can publicly share, so this will clearly be interesting.
First bit of work I felt was nice enough to share – I recently got a mirrorless and a wide-aperture lens, and tried my hand at some bulb-mode captures on the Shepperton Road footbridge.
I had someone post a link to a site I was statically hosting on their social media, with emoji arrows pointing towards it. on both sides. Of course this was interpreted as part of the url when clicking the link, and therefore “the sites down, can you fix it” it’s truly 2016.
If you’ve never heard about DJ Khaled or his snapchats, you’re missing out. While his music is absolutely dreadful, his snapchats are absolutely on point, and has a huge fan-base. I’ve made a small slideshow in flask here: http://anotherone.adamparsons.id.au/ I want to expand the library but I just cannot justify spending any more time on this than I already have, but if you have any sort of collection and want to add it, leave a comment or submit a pull request here
Quick and dirty, my Debian router virtual-machine, my requirements were simple: DDNS, NAT-Loopback, NAT-PMP (A.K.A. UPnP Port Mapping), and some bandwidth usage monitoring
I’ve tried looking everywhere for an alternative to the horrible app Harman Kardon made for the AVR Series Receivers, they refused to disclose how it works. Screw them.
